This women’s cricket league tournament has grandly kick-started on the 4th of March. All the Women’s Premier League matches will only be played in Mumbai. In the first match, Mumbai Indians has defeated Gujrat Giants by 143 margin.
Before the match, Gujarat made a big change in their team. They included Australian Kim Grath in the place of West-Indian all-rounder Deandra Dottin. Gujarat had picked Diandra Dottin in their team by giving 60 lakh rupees, but she is out of the entire Women’s Premier League season due to injury. The Gujarat Giants official gave this information.
But a tweet from Deandra Dottin shocked everyone. She has written that She hasn’t any injury and didn’t even know why the franchise released her. This incident indicated something big happened between the Gujarat franchise and the West-Indian all-rounder. Further, there needs to be more clarification given by the Gujarat Franchise official on this.
Deandra Dottin wrote from his official Twitter handle, “I really appreciate all the messages, but truth be told, I’m recovering from nothing, but the Holy Ghost anointing thank you #GodIsGood #GodIsInControl.”
Kim Garth made his debut for Australia against India only last year. She was part of the Australian World Cup-winning team in team. However, she did not play any match for Australia during the T20 World Cup.
Kim Garth started her career on behalf of the Ireland Women’s National Team. She made his debut in Ireland at the youngest. She made his debut at the age of 14 years and 70 days. Garth has also played the T20 World Cup for Ireland.
